Investment Options under the GIP Scheme
There are two main investment routes under the GIP Scheme:

Option B: Invest at least S$2.5 million in a GIP-approved fund that invests in Singapore-based companies.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the GIP Scheme, you must:
Meet Investment Requirements: Make a minimum investment of S$2.5 million, either in a new or existing business (Option A) or in a GIP-approved fund (Option B).
Have a Proven Track Record: Demonstrate at least three years of business or entrepreneurial experience.
Business Turnover Requirements: If you own an existing business, it should have:If you manage multiple businesses, provide financial statements for the one with the highest turnover. Authorities will also consider your role, position, and the company's profitability.
A minimum turnover of S$50 million in the most recent financial year, and an average annual turnover of S$50 million for the last three years.

Criteria for Option A Applicants
Invest a minimum of S$2.5 million in a new business or expanding an existing one.
Submit a detailed three-year business or investment plan, including employment and financial projections. You must meet the milestones outlined in your plan.
Criteria for Option B Applicants
Invest a minimum of S$2.5 million in a GIP-approved fund that targets Singapore-based companies.

Under the GIP Scheme, you can apply for PR for your family members:
Spouse and children (21 years and below): Eligible to apply for PR with your application. Note that male dependents may be liable for National Service.
Children over 21 and parents: Eligible for a 5-year Long-Term Social Visit Pass (LTSVP), which is renewable and valid as long as your re-entry permit is valid.
Application Procedure
To apply for PR under the GIP Scheme, you will need:
Form A: Application for Permanent Residence for Investors.
Form B: Proposed Investment Plan.

Supporting documents (translated into English, if necessary).
The application process typically takes 6-8 months. During this time, you may be invited for an interview. If approved, you will receive an Approval-in-Principle (AIP) PR valid for 6 months, during which you must make your investment. Proof of investment, such as share certificates or title deeds, must be submitted and held by the authorities for 5 years. Once these documents are verified, you will be granted final PR status.
