Step 7: Submit Your PR Application
Once you have completed the PR application form, received the Annex A from your employer, and prepared all supporting documents, you’re ready to submit your application. Ensure that all forms and documents are current as of the date of submission. The submission process is straightforward: you will need to upload your completed PR application and supporting documents online through the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) of Singapore’s portal.
Step 8: Wait for Results
After submitting your PR application, the waiting period begins. The processing time can vary widely, typically taking between 6 to 12 months. During this time, try to stay patient and avoid excessive worry, as it won’t affect the outcome. If you haven’t received a response after 6 months, you can contact ICA for an update, though they will generally only confirm whether your application is still under review without providing further details.

Payment for identity card registration, re-entry permit, and entry permit (payment via NETS or Cashcard only)
The officer will advise you on the date for collecting your National Registration Identity Card (NRIC). Remember to make another appointment for this.
